Privacy Policy

Your studio record. Your name, email address, phone number, and date of birth, along with your lesson schedule and enrollment status. This comes from the studio’s customer records, which are the source of truth for who is enrolled. Date of birth is used to apply an age check to the member community.

What you create in the app. Lesson recordings and their transcripts, the lesson notes generated from them, voice memos, practice logs, community posts, comments and reactions, photos you upload including your profile picture, video clips and live sessions, event RSVPs, and any reports you submit about community content.

Technical data. A sign-in session, and a device token if you turn on push notifications. We also collect aggregate performance and traffic measurements that are not tied to your identity.

To run your lessons and your account: showing your schedule, letting your coach record a lesson and send you notes, tracking your practice, running the member community and studio events, and sending you notifications and receipts you have asked for.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

When your coach records a lesson, the audio is stored securely and sent to a transcription service. The transcript is then sent to an AI service that drafts structured lesson notes. Your coach reviews and approves those notes before they are sent to you.

These services process the audio and transcript to perform that task. They do not use your recordings to train their models under the terms we use them on.

Lesson audio is deleted automatically after 90 days. Transcripts and the approved notes are kept as part of your lesson history so you and your coach can refer back to them.

We use a small number of providers to operate the app. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:

• Database, sign-in, and file storage
• Customer records, scheduling, and studio email and SMS
• Website hosting and performance measurement
• Audio transcription
• AI drafting of lesson notes
• Video hosting for community clips and live sessions
• Push notification delivery
• Transactional email
• GIF search in the community composer

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

The member community is visible to other members of the studio. Your display name, profile picture, bio, and anything you post, comment, or react to can be seen by them. Your coach and the studio owner can also see your lessons, notes, and practice history. Your phone number and email address are not shown to other members.

If you allow notifications, we store a device token so we can send you alerts about lesson notes, community replies, and studio announcements. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, and the token stops being used.

Lesson audio is deleted after 90 days. Your account information, lesson notes, practice history, and community activity are kept while you are enrolled, and for a reasonable period afterwards for the studio’s records. You can ask us to delete your account and its contents.

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Write to us at the address below and we will action it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law, and we will honour those.

Some of our students are minors. Their accounts are set up by the studio as part of enrollment, with a parent or guardian involved. A parent or guardian can contact us at any time to see what we hold about their child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. The member community applies an age check based on date of birth.

Access is restricted to your own record and to the staff who work with you. Recordings and uploads are stored in access-controlled storage, and the database enforces per-member access rules. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously and fix problems quickly when we find them.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email.
